Minimum age requirements to purchase a knife on this website is 18 years of age.

Check your state and local laws before purchasing.  There may be restrictions for purchasing merchandise that may apply to you. 

 It is the responsibility of the buyer, NOT THE SELLER, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and use, of any item purchased.

Payment Methods

We accept Discover Card, Visa, MasterCard and Postal Money Orders. If ordering by postal money order, verify in advance the availability of the item before sending the money order. 

Shipping - Returns - Exchanges - Errors

WARRANTY:     Most of the products on our site carry a manufacturers' warranty. We will replace or return any defective product during 10 days from date of purchase, exchange policy. After the 10 day policy the product must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty, if available, at buyer’s expense. 

 For automatic knives to have a warranty they must be manufactured in the U.S.A., by a manufacturer that offers a warranty.  Automatic conversion knives are guaranteed to work properly when you get them and do not have a manufacturer’s warranty. 

PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXCEPT THOSE SET FORTH ABOVE.  PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

SHIPPING:         Returns within the 10 day from date of purchase must be returned in their original packaging by UPS Ground and insured against loss at your expense.   Shipping cost is the buyer’s responsibility and are not refundable unless a defective product, returned within the 10 day from date of purchase. Proost Enterprises reserves the right to change shipping methods to UPS at our discretion.

Shipping fees are not refundable.  Orders made before 12:00 P.M. EST, Monday through Friday ship same or next business day.  Orders after 12:00 P.M. EST ship next business day.  We assume no responsibility for shipping delays caused by the shipping methods chosen or otherwise as they are not under our control.  Next day, 2nd day or any expedited shipping methods may not be 100% reliable, nor are they guaranteed or refundable for any reason.

 All merchandise must be shipped to buyer at the buyer’s address. You may not purchase any merchandise on behalf of or in another person’s name. 

 RETURNS:        Returns or exchanges are based upon our approval and are subject to a 15% restock Fee.  Special orders at the request of the customer are done as a service and not refundable. 

 ERRORS:         This website is under constant change. Occasionally, there may be errors in listings. Errors in product numbers or price will not be honored. 

AUTOMATIC KNIFE POLICY AND RELEASE AGREEMENT

IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STATUTES: Read carefully all of the conditions set forth below.

You are 18 or Older: By placing an order with PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES, you agree that you are at least 18 years of age and you meet any or all of the following criteria. PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES can only ship Automatic knives to non-Florida residents who meet one or more of the requirements below.

You are able to receive the Automatic Knives: According to Federal Code 18 USCS 1716 (g)(1-4), Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines,  with the following exceptions:

(1) to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or militia of a state, territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such organization;

(2) to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;

(3) to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory;

(4) to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs (1), (2), and (3).

Pursuant to the Act of August 12, 1958 (Pub. L. 85-623, codified at 15 U.S.C. §§ 1241-1245, otherwise known as the “Switchblade Knife Act”), whoever knowingly introduces, or manufactures for introduction, into interstate commerce, or transports or distributes in interstate commerce, any switchblade knife, shall be fined or imprisoned, or both.

Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt. Absolutely NO S TO MINORS. The proper authorities will be alerted of any attempts to falsify information. 

No butterfly knives shall be sold to any New York residents or shipped into the state of New York.

No automatic knives shall be sold to any Illinois residents or shipped into the state of Illinois.

BY PLACING THIS ORDER, YOU WARRANT THAT YOU ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND ARE LEGALLY ABLE TO PURCHASE THE ITEM(S). YOUR PURCHASE OF AUTOMATIC KNIVES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. 

BY PLACING THIS ORDER, YOU RELEASE PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES OF ANY LIABILITY REGARDING YOUR ACTIONS CONCERNING THE USE, , OWNERSHIP AND SHIPPING OF ANY AUTOMATIC KNIVES SOLD BY PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES AND YOU STATE THAT YOU WILL MAKE NO SUCH S TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

GENERAL RELEASES

PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from us or any of our distributors & dealers. Since no product is 100% effective against attack, PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES assumes no responsibility if a product purchased from us is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment or death.

YOU HEREBY RELEASE PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF YOUR PURCHASE OF MERCHANDISE FROM US OR ON OUR SITE.

I have read and agree with PROOST ENTERPRISES/JAX KNIVES Terms and Conditions. I agree that I know and understand all applicable laws and will abide by those terms and laws.  I have read Sections 18 USCS 1716 (g)(1-4) and 15 USCS 1241-1245 (above) and fully will/do comply and agree to use knives in connection of duties as described in those sections.  By placing this order, I take full responsibility for obeying all federal, state and local laws and restrictions.
